READY
Foundation Level (CEFR A1)
READY is a comprehensive, topic-based program designed for sixth graders at the Foundation Level, in accordance with the CEFR A1 (Basic) standard.
Organized around five thematic units plus a preparatory unit (Getting Ready), READY develops oral communication skills through a strong lexical base, authentic stories, and systematic literacy practice. The program addresses diverse learning styles through multisensory activities and scaffolded tasks rooted in students’ everyday lives.
READY is designed for the MOE’s English Curriculum. It fulfills the requirements of the Foundation Level in accordance with the CEFR A1 (Basic) level:
- Band I Vocabulary and Lexical Chunks
- Can-Do Statements
- Band I Grammar
- Phonics patterns and practice
